League One 2020/2021 - current 24 23:14 - Jul 22 with 2402 views | pointofblue | Accrington Stanley A.F.C. Wimbledon Blackpool Bristol Rovers Burton Albion Charlton Athletic Crewe Alexandra Doncaster Rovers Fleetwood Town Gillingham Hull City Ipswich Town Lincoln City Milton Keynes Dons Northampton Town Oxford United Peterborough United Plymouth Argyle Portsmouth Rochdale Shrewsbury Town Sunderland Swindon Town Wigan Athletic (on appeal; could be Barnsley) Think it looks tougher than the season and yet we made a mess of that. No excuses this time around and yet... my early predictions: Automatic promotion: Sunderland and Portsmouth Play Offs: Doncaster Rovers, Peterborough United, Oxford United and Wigan Athletic Relegated: Accrington Stanley, A.F.C. Wimbledon, Crewe Alexandra and Shrewsbury Town Town to finish: 15th (it’s our favourite position, after all)

League One 2020/2021 - current 24 on 07:25 - Jul 23 with 2246 views | JammyDodgerrr | I don’t think it looks any tougher. I think it’s probably weaker than this season. Hull and Charlton are so poorly run it is unlikely they will offer anything. Sunderland and Portsmouth get tipped every year for automatics and haven’t done it and Sunderland especially are only going to get worse. Most of the smaller clubs will have no money to strengthen either. We ‘should’ easily finish top six - I imagine Wigan will win the league if they keep hold of Paul Cook.

Possibly. All three relegated sides have ownership issues though Wigan seem close to sorting theirs out. I think the bigger sides in the division will take advantage of the situation better than we will; since when have we turned a situation into our favour?

League One 2020/2021 - current 24 on 08:14 - Jul 23 with 2176 views | Herbivore | It looks pretty similar to me. Hull look a mess, Charlton not much better. Both have been in free fall this year more or less. Wigan are in administration and will surely lose some of their better players. Sunderland don't seem to be in a great place. With the resources we have we should be challenging for promotion and if we don't it's another abject failure on the part of our manager.

I agree we should be challenging for promotion; I just have no faith that we will. Our weaknesses at level were regularly exposed last year and I don’t think we’ll look to fix them.

I am going with 9th. That or 100 points 100 goals, up as champions, winners of that comedy trophy, QF of the League Cup and 5th Round of the FA Cup. Yeah, on reflection, the second one.

Our main weakness was a totally inept manager.

If Wigan keep their squad together, they should cruise it really They're a mid-table Championship side essentially, it could be a double punishment for League One sides

It's a dump and there's an awful roundabout sequence near the ground.

But we always used to win very comfortably there. Certainly in the late 90s.

I remember something like a 4-1 win there on opening day; not sure if it was in our promotion season or maybe the year before? I was on holiday at the time so watched it in a bar.

League One 2020/2021 - current 24 on 13:53 - Jul 23 with 1729 views | TheTrueBlue1878 | I don't think its a tougher league this year. Still too early for predictions mind, lots could happen between now and when we kick a ball, injuries, incomings, outgoings. Also need to see the first 5 games to make judgement really. I wonder when the fixtures will be out. If it's a 12 September start then presumably they have to be out by say 12 August to gives clubs some sort of ability to plan travel for away matches.
