Is there a risk that Lambert hasn't actually learned his lesson and will continue to go with 'the one who looked the best in training?'.

When Norris left I assumed Holy would be the regular keeper and Przzy Rascal and Mr Wright would back him up.

But the signing of what is effectively a second No 1 at this level actually concerns me that we will have all the same issues again. One bad game for a keeper and they are rotated again and again.

I thought it was more the case that Prizzy Rascal and Plug 2 aren't really trusted yet, so he needed a 2nd senior keeper.

I agree with you though, we don't want to be chopping and changing keepers again.

They need to make a decision early on Holy or Cornell as to who our No.1 is and then stick with them. Whomever occupies that position chopping and changing isn't the answer, not for the individual or those defenders in front of them, as we saw last season it just causes hesitation and uncertainty. Fingers crossed PL realised this was a big mistake last season on his part.

that's true enough.

I wouldn't assume Cornell is a shoe in for the number 1 jersey in any case. Seems to be back up quality to me. Obviously if he gets a chance and impresses then he can make a case, but I'm not expecting too much from him.

Prizzy Rascal is arguably the best player nickname I've heard in a while.
