Lovely to watch an Ipswich side with a competent coach, isn't it?

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

They were less 'technical' than their opponents but had greater heart and determination.

Only saw the second half but encouraging signs. Was nice to see us pass the ball with a purpose and not just pass it round between the centre halves and the keeper.

That 2nd half was superb, played so well - I celebrated that winner more than the ones v Shrewsbury and Plymouth....!

Not sure they had anothe 30 minutes in their legs, but an incredible turnaround - and difficult to overstate how good an academy FUlham have, they would have been one of the 5 or 6 favourites for the trophy this season

Some really good performances.
Thought Elkan Baggott in particular was awesome. Reminded me of a young Alan Hansen.

Made Jacksons honest comments about trying to find the right balance damning as the youths can do it.

Really enjoyed that , and have a look at the Fa Premier league youth table and u will see Fulham are 6th but wil easily go 2nd and maybe top with games in hand .

They also always supply a lot of kids to the younger age group England squads...
This is a helluva scalp for the young lads .

And it wasn’t lucky, we outplayed them 2nd half, Baggott does look a player !
Goals taken well and penalty hammered home!

Most fun being a Town fan in ages lol

What a result!!

How was our Indonesian centre back starlet tonight - did he play? he looks the real deal.

Chelsea, Brighton, Forest, Boro, Cardiff, West Ham also through to the next round... so bound to be a tasty next round!

.. I assume you mean Fulham players had better control, passing skills, and seemed to have superior shape and movement.

But our lads had greater energy and endeavour?

Technical must always be wedded to energy to gain true effectiveness.

Wibble wibble

and a shame the first team manager couldn't be bothered to go and show his support

There was no negativity last night, but then again there was no Paul Lambert

From various reports yesterday I thought he was in Scotland (possibly being interviewed at Parkhead)

If he was there then I apologise to him
