Really sad to say but not really interested until arrogant Lambert has gone 23:31 - Feb 6 with 1467 viewsskankerman

Winning is great but covers the cracks

Always said the squad is more than capable but arrogant Lambert is someone I can't warm to.

God knows how he can motivate a dressing room

40 years supporting the team, but this guy is up himself
Support the team but/ change of management required

Yep.

Angry idiot.

Should be the most grateful man in football to be managing this fantastic club and still have a job despite being the worst manager in our history.

To be honest I actually hate myself as a town fan at the moment, I should be happy we won, but im actually fuming which in itself is crazy, but the way Lambert has gone about the Media, the fans, the Phil situation etc Lamberts time at town means nothing to me and I can't find it in myself to be happy with following the blues until his time is over, even IF he somehow managed to get us up, I will find it difficult to smile about it, he's just poison and treating the club, it's fans and the local media like sht on the bottom of your shoe.

Never be afraid to share your thoughts.

Agree with this, 40+ years and first time that I thought a win was not the best outcome for our club. Just delays the day when Lambert goes.

I think Saturday's result was the least excited I have been about any Town win in 30+ years of supporting us.

I just wasn't bothered. It's sad but i don't really feel like having much to do with the club with Lambert as manager...and I was actually a strong supporter of Lambert initially and what I thought he'd done for the club off the pitch at the start of his reign. Jeeze how wrong i was...I'm embarrassed that i gave him support at that time, but i think many including Blue Action got it wrong.

I cannot stand the man and his attitude and the way he has conducted himself this season especially.

Will still support.

Ideally Lambert doesn't do anymore pressers. The less we hear from him the better. Much prefer to hear from Matt Gill.

Always want to see progress on the pitch.

Free Phil Ham.

Poll: Would love to know the opinions on here now of Lambert genuinely?

Whilst I generally agree re Lambert, the actual problem is ME, and we supporters shouldn't lose sight of that. Our managers just eventually take the flack for everything that ME has done to run the club down. They become the lightening rod. Getting rid of Lambert will change little.

I get where you are coming from, but I'd say some of the scraped single goal wins against Burton meant a lot less, when were playing badly.

We actually played ok on Saturday, with some good performances in all areas of the pitch, including some exciting debuts (yes, yes I know they are loanees).

Don't get me wrong, I want Lambert gone too, but I was pleased with the win at the weekend although excited might be pushing it though!

RIP Sir Bobby

I agree he's not performed, I agree he's been a tool.

But what if the recent signings cause us to get results more like we were getting towards the start of the season? I believe we're 8th on points per game, and it wouldn't take a 180 degree turn in form to sneak into the playoffs. I know our results against top teams have been shocking, but the season's not over. Why not just support the team while wanting Lambert to be replaced?

Has Lambert spoken to the media after Saturday?

Yeh, I'm not a mile away from that

Was obviously pleased to win Saturday, and thought we were decent enough but hard to get too enthused when you know the manager is the wrong one, and that it is a case of when he leaves not if.

Ultimately a win against a team below us in the league proves nothing that we don't already know though - and until we start performing against teams above us in the league it is all for nought

I don't think he'll ever win me back round, just a case of hoping he does as little damage as possible before he gets the tin tack

What's the realistic best end game here? We get promoted with half a team of loanees and Lambert is in charge again next season?

I find it really, really hard to get motivated by it all at the moment. The big picture just seems so bleak to me. We aren't building anything here at all.
