Have we hit rock bottom yet? (n/t) on 17:49 - Feb 12 with 1005 views | wkj | Depends on what rock bottom means. Is this the worst I have ever felt as a Town fan? Yes, and even if our league position gets worse and we go down to L2, it really won't feel any worse than now. I have come to terms with that being a real possibility over the next few years.

Have we hit rock bottom yet? (n/t) on 19:07 - Feb 12 with 850 views | WD19 | Yes and no. This season will get worse.......but we wont get relegated, so the nadir will be 'complete failure in Division 3. Again.' Next season will be better because Lambert wont be here. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Have we hit rock bottom yet? (n/t) on 20:34 - Feb 12 with 776 views | Churchman | Long way to go yet. A minimum of one division to go down in the next year or two, possibly to the Conference after that. Training ground flogged off for the portfolio, youth scheme scrapped. Only after that will Evans abandon what’s left and take the hit. If he's generous, he will leave something. If he’s not..... More optimistically he gets so hacked off he sells the remnants to a new owner who sees the demand for a football club as the Cobbold saw in the 1930s and the Phoenix rises. If that was to happen I’d be fully behind it. [Post edited 12 Feb 2021 20:44]

But Evans, the main cause of our decline, will be.

I know what you mean but there were plenty saying something similar towards the end of Mick’s time and we were scratching around in the Championship. I think that we are around rock bottom at the minute - the abolition of the salary cap has seen to that. It’s difficult to know how long we’ll be at this level, but I can’t see it getting much worse.

Hard to think of a club of our size that ended up in League 2 without some sort of financial collapse being the immediate cause. Getting down their via bad footballing decisions alone would be some "achievement". [Post edited 13 Feb 2021 12:52]
