Not sure he can magically improve the fact we never work any good shooting positions to be fair.
It's the free kick and corner strategies that are the really maddening thing. If you're a team that's brilliant at working the ball and getting bodies forward in open play, fine, knock it short. When it's your main weakness as a team why wouldn't you take the opportunity every single time the ball is dead to throw people forward? Not really sure what you are trying to achieve here. The managers role in football is the tactics, our tactics are resulting in no goals and 1 shot on target per game. If you argue that the manager isn't responsible for changing that then it seems you don't see the point in having a manager. It is an odd argument | |
