Seeing as the strawberries are in a hanging basket, I made a concerted effort to pick them myself.

We're booked to eat in the pub at 6pm. Might try their Club England Sandwich - four slices of toasted pan loaf with Pinney's bacon, chicken breast, little gem, cumberland sausage, Colmans mustard mayo, cheddar slices and a big cross of Cranberry sauce on the chicken. Served with fries and your choice of coleslaw: fruity or curried.
Tel's having the steak. Rump, cooked rare, served with fat chips and grilled mushrooms, tomatoes and your choice of sauce: Diane, Bearnaise or Pepper. |  |
