That 'clearance' from Mount was pathetic. I struggle to understand why Southgate perseveres with him, he's done nothing positive for England for some time, imo. |
Plays better for Chelsea than England. His defensive contribution is good but he isn’t direct enough as the No10 with a functional midfield pairing behind him, especially with how deep Kane likes to drop. |  |

Poland probably just about deserved a draw.
Unlike Hungary, they at least tried to take the game to England. Lewandowski is some player too. Would still be a hell of an aquisition for any of the top teams in England.

He's a good player but he's been a passenger for England for some time. Was by far our weakest link in the Euros for me, carried no threat and games passed him by. | |

Walker deserves his share of the blame there - diving in and getting done by a very average player totally opened it up. He stands up, goal doesn’t happen. Otherwise, draw a good result. Booking tickets to Qatar tomorrow. |  |

Disappointing end, but a draw is ok. Mount is an odd one. He seems to be forming a good partnership with Grealish and has loads of ability. However, he does seem to be ineffectual for large chunks of the game. I think he will be a good player for England but maybe he needs another good domestic season under his belt. |  | | |

Southgate got it wrong by playing him in the final. His set piece delivery was poor in the tournament - it much better when Trippier or Shaw were taking them. | |

Sterling sometimes runs into trouble but he was excellent at the Euros so has earnt his place.
Lack of subs was because we were dominating and there was no need to change anything. I expect we'll be hearing from some angry club managers but oh well. | |
