Laura Robosn never showed as much promise as Emma already has in my opinion.
She's almost making it look easy, she's been crazy good. Definte grand slam winner in the making, if not a multiple slam winner. This girl is seriously talented.
She seems grounded, clearly has very sensible parents so if she stays injury free, the sky is the limit. |  |

Agree she seems very grounded, doesn't come across as someone that will let the attention get to her.
Don't forget Laura Robson won Junior Wimbledon at 14, got to the 4th round of Wimbledon and the US, first British woman since Jo Durie to reach the final of a WTA event and won a silver Olympic medal.
She was 27 in the world at 19 and suffered her first serious injury the following year, was never tbe same after, she really was a great talent.
She's only 27 now.
That said ER does seem to have that something that says superstar in the making where as LR you always felt would have to graft to go beyond say a regular 2ns weeker | |

Just watched her match on Prime, she looked the real deal.
Certainly a future champion. Could actually be something rather special in the Woman's games for years to come.

That fact is, Laura Robson wasn’t in Radacanu’s class. Robson had a big serve and a very decent forehand but her mobility around the court wasn’t great. Radacanu’s got a great all round game that is far superior to Robson’s and what’s more she seems to have that mental fortitude to go with her tennis ability too. If she can keep her feet firmly grounded and avoid the trappings of success, then we have a real superstar on our hands. [Post edited 10 Sep 2021 13:35]

She's great with media as well, which these days has to be part of top sports peoples' kitbags.
The only slight concern re her progress I have is that atm, she's playing without fear as she obviously has nothing to lose, and how that could change. But as others have said, she does seem very well grounded, so here's hoping it wouldn't be much of an issue for her.
I take it we're all cheering her on in the final - anyone able to provide running water?! ;)
