On PPG that would actually have us finishing 3rd, a different variant I've seen us similarly in the play-offs, though with different teams above us. But on a more serious note this is heartening to see, in our previous starts this sort of thing had us midtable despite points on the board. Total dunce who needs some hand holding here, but if I’m right the xg etc stats are accurate for the first 12 games and the table has been extrapolated from that right?
So, our xGoalsAgainst is 11.91, third best in the league, yet real world goals against is joint worst in the league.
Just think it’s interesting this then highlights that our poor defensive record is down to individual mistakes rather than what’s expected from our general play eg it’s not systemic, but something else. ‘If we cut out the individual mistakes…’ in data form, no? | |

doesn't it also show where we could end up if every team keeps playing as they are with no shocks? Never going to happen, obviously, but we are creating enough chances to finish 6th if we play to our full potential, whereas Sunderland are playing well enough to finish mid table if every other team steps up |  | | |

Another thing to add, we've been top in the last 2 seasons in League One. But you can bet your bottom dollar we'd have been bottom half in the Expected Points Table on both occasions.
