Kenlock has done well 20:41 - Nov 9 with 1141 viewswkj

to remain at ITFC all this time. I am really not impressed by him at all. Surely the 2nd half would make sense to bring on Bailey Clemments. If we're going to have an experiment, tonight is the game for it - surely.

It's what I've said about this in the past.. no need to play kenlock as we can't use him in league games.

Put Burgess there or Clements as they can at least be used..

He’s literally always been rubbish. At no point has he ever looked a Championship or League 1 standard player.

And yet he has 55 Championship appearances and 30 League 1 ones under his belt.

He is nothing fancy but he is at least a decent League 1 player who can do a job in the Championship.

To have come in from the cold and done OK shows he is reasonable enough. Not got anything major wrong tonight.

Im not sure I agree with the logic that players who don't make the league squad shouldn't be involved in cup games, especially the EFL Trophy. However, Kenlock just isn't consistent at all.

It would make more sense to play Clements rather than moving Burgess as there isn't really anyone I would want to risk at CB cover tonight.

He was always the weak link here. I personally thought Josh Emmanuel was much better than Kenlock, but Kenlock was the one who stayed at Ipswich while J.E. was loaned out.

Won't be seeing Kenlock in an Ipswich shirt again.

You've got your wish. Must admit, it didn't make sense to me to play him either.

I thought he played well on a few occasions last season, not who you need if you have promotion ambitions though.

All those appearances are for Ipswich when we had no other option. On the occasion that we had other options, they were used. He’s never been more than a backup. In a poor Ipswich team too.

Always always been useless for us and if he wasn’t from out academy, he’d have never made more than 20 appearances at the most.

Harsh. He has occasionally looked a lowish League One player.

Thankless task now though….weeks without a game and then thrown in. As Glasgow says, you have got to think that is him totally done now. Contract up in the summer.
