It’s been reported that the taxi driver, on realising his passenger was a terrorist, locked him in the car.
If that’s the case then the taxi driver has saved many lives. Imagine had this scumbag walked into the hospital and then detonated his device?
With airports now over run with security personnel and checks then these people will be looking for easy targets that bring them mass casualties. I fear that hospitals will now need to have more security. |  |

On airports, our approach has always been to look at the weaker points.
It's not Heathrow, Gatwick etc that are the security risk, but smaller more 'lax' airports in this country. Especially the case overseas. Nairobi airport in particular is a significant issue for those travelling onto western airlines and wanting to cause problems. | | | |

Yes he asked to.go to the remembrance service but due ti traffic couldn’t get there on time so went to the hospital instead! Absolute vermin!

Also much respect to the person in a high-vis jacket at the bottom right as the video starts who breaks off from talking to someone in the red car and runs TOWARDS the exploded car and supports the driver away from the vehicle - I think many of us may have had the inclination to run in the opposite direction.
Also, later in the video, and a tip for fire wardens, the person who comes out from the main entrance and is handed a fire extinguisher does a good job but seconds can matter - always keep yourselves familiar with the right extinguisher for the type of fire and know how to cap off the safety mechanism to get the thing working straight away:
