If so, did you get a reply?
It would be interesting to hear what replies are coming back.
This was mine a few days ago from Anthony Browne (South Cambs)
"Let me begin by stating that I share your frustration. The last two years have been tremendously difficult for everybody. It is particularly galling to consider that the rules were apparently broken by those within Number 10. It is right that the Prime Minister has apologised and taken personal responsibility for these ongoings. 
 
I do understand that many people remain furious about these events, as do I. It goes without saying that those who make the rules must abide by them, and those who break the rules should face appropriate sanctions. Clearly there is a big cultural problem in Number 10. However, I believe it is important that we await the findings of the formal investigation to find out the full facts of events. I expect the Prime Minister and others in Number 10 to comply fully with this investigation."
I've since sent another one decrying the outrageous Saville slur.

Where I live, it’s like a Rotten Borough. The Tory always gets in and always will. She is not interested. The very worst that can happen to her is a return to the recumbent comfort of the back benches with the rump of the Tory party that’s left or possibly a promotion to the front bench shadow cabinet wafflers. Oh the hardship.

Yes, on a range of topics from Brexit to the recent ongoing failure to uphold parliamentary standards. My local MP is David T Davies and without a shadow of doubt he is not representing my views. Sadly I am stuck with him until I move but even then it will be to another fairly safe seat.
In fact everywhere I have lived in the UK have always been safe seats for a particular party, which does question the actual value/impact of my vote. |  |

That experience is common to most of us and is a complaint my father made all his life seeing repugnant people such as Gummer and Coffey following Tory grandee Harwood-Harrison into a safe seat. Now I feel much the same seeing the vile Kami Badenough parachuted into Saffron Walden from Wimbledon after Hazelhurst and Rab Butler
Not sure what the point of writing to self-serving sycophants is. The Conservatives elected a knob liar and opportunistic incompetent as their leader - so can hardly complain when he delivers on that promise. Besides only 44% saw fit to vote for this chaos and embarrassment - so of course the vast majority will moan - and be completely ignored. | |

I did write to my MP (Conservative) a number of times about Brexit. He replied personally and sensibly, plus copying me into his monthly newsletter.
However, I did realise fairly quickly he is a bit of a party appartchik and political climber, thus was unlikely to ever actually vote against the Government line. He's now made it up to a junior ministerial role. Thus not particularly useful for steering policy. He also might lose his seat in the next election. |  |
