If people keep building up their expectations then they're setting themselves up for disappointment.

There's plenty of positives at the moment without any need to be itching for a problem to happen just around the corner.

If only he'd just persist with play 4-3-2-1 every game, eh?

Don’t know why people think we need to be special to go on a run in this league.

Exactly. This division is awful. The fact that we've gotten marooned in it says more about how badly we've been run rather than how good the division is.

Certainly need to be less wasteful in front of goal, we won’t get as many chances against the MK Dons and need to take them when they come along.

If we create the same number of chances on Saturday as we did tonight, but actually put them away, then we’ll be fine.

My concern is that better teams will capitalise on our slack back passes to Walton. Seeing this from Edmunson far too many times lately.

Hey now, hey now, don't dream it's over

We had 70 percent possession and 17 shots away from home. If we took our chances it would have been a comfortable 4 or 5. Not sure what else people want.

We must win every game 4-0, have over 25 shots on target, the opposition can never cross in our half.

Then they’ll be satisfied.

To score more than 1 of those chances against the bottom team, rather than being constantly fearful on a slender lead.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

all our remaining games against teams currently in the top eight, but win every other, Town will finish on 77 points and be in with a shout of the playoffs.

I think that is partly our 'fan anxiety' though because of the banter era. We were well in control yesterday at 1 nil.

Hopefully Bonne has one go in off his backside and finds a bit of confidence in front of goal again.

In that scenario wouldn't the playoff threshold be unusually high though....

No need to fear any teams though, except Rotherham who I'll be amazed if they foul up now.

We could/should have scored 4 or 5 last night. Poor finishing (Bonne x 2, Norwood, Wolf, there may be others) and decision making (Celina and Chaplin).

We kept the ball well, got behind Donny playing wide and created good chances. With a decent forward, it would have been a Wycombe/Portsmouth result.

Not necessarily, that would only be one more win for each of those teams, who can lose to each other (and, on occasion, anyone else in the division, it seems). The bulk of most teams' points are accrued against those in the lower three-quarters of ther table*.

Except Rotherham, where it's fairly even, SheffWed, who seem peculiarly strong against better teams and Sunderland, who are good at home, rubbish on the road.
