Partygate update 12:39 - Feb 9 with 3977 views | bluelagos | Pic from one of the parties that did not meet the Met threshold for investigation. Got to wonder what the photos show of the ones that do...

Partygate update on 13:12 - Feb 9 with 1684 views | ElderGrizzly | QC thinks this should now get looked into As you say though, the Met and Sue Gray either doesn't have this evidence (until now) or the ones she has are even more obvious of law breaking

You’re only hurting yourself now. Nothing will happen; nobody really cares.

Not hurting myself at all. Weird comment. It's discussed daily in my work and is interesting how it is affecting Ministers and MPs in a way that isn't seen by the media. He's finished. It's just about timing now.
Partygate update on 13:19 - Feb 9 with 1601 views | lowhouseblue | hasn't that photo been published before? it's the one where someone on here claimed that a cctv camera had been covered with a bin bag (it's really just a curtain)?
| And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show |

Indeed. Millions who abided by the law so didn't say goodbye to loved ones etc care very much. Never had Chico down as a Boris apologist. After yesterday's revelation that Lagos is effectively a child of Thatcher this is a very weird board :)

“In your work” what you mean the Foreign Office? People working in factories offices joineries and supermarkets don’t care.

If you don’t think everyone already knows the elite political civil servant class in this country hold everyone else in utter contempt and think the rules don’t apply to themselves, you’re even more out of touch than I thought.

Different one I think. The bottle’s a new addition and (assuming it is bubbly) proves they lied about there being alcohol there, which is further evidence they likely broke tier 2 rules. Cummings is probably right. It may never be officially recognised that they broke the law if Number 10 and the Met are colluding. A drip of pictures will be much more damaging. His ratings have tanked as it is.

The syndicate of gardeners and arborists would like it known that they care and hold civil servants in contempt.

Apart from it does, that's correct. There was a denial of there being food/drink and he just popped onto a Zoom call. Clearly untrue

It's quite clear people from across a spectrum of jobs and society care. Not all I agree, but even the vast majority of (literal) Wetherspoons crowd have gone on him based on the interviews broadcast [Post edited 9 Feb 2022 13:33]

The majority of civil servants very much followed the rules and are appalled by this whole situation. The fact you want to make cheap points off it is more a reflection of your own prejudice of course.

That’s a bit of a high bar for proving you care. Remind me to torch the cars in my street next time we lose a match! People are definitely interest as you can tell from the various polls, even if they’re not taking to the streets.
