i was responding to someone who had made up the denial about food and drink.
the picture shows an online office christmas quiz. an event which (a) is very much in the spirit of the restrictions; and (b) no sane person would take part in unless they felt a work obligation. i did work online quizzes, it was no one's idea of fun, it was in no sense a social activity, it was 100% work.

it is clear that rules were broken in 10 downing street. it's not clear that the online quiz on 15th dec broke any rules. there was no previous denial about food and drink at the 15th dec online quiz.
details do matter. they're all a bunch of bastards and vague generalisations isn't a substitute for proving what was done in breach of the rules. sorry to pedantic and not just join in with the braying. |  |

The thought is that he should stay, given the long term damage he is doing to the Tories - Labour are now 10 points ahead, which would give them a clear overall majority, and see the Tories lose nearly 40% of their seats. A lead that continues to grow by the week.

Having had some counselling the lockdown is certain to have been a massive contributory factor for this. I care deeply that my mental health has suffered dramatically whilst the PM and the Tories have partied and carried on. I’m sorry to hear you’ve been struggling. This has been a very tough time for many many people.
I’m afraid I don’t agree though. In large part nobody really cares. Perhaps I ought to say here that I too think it’s awful that our ruling class - elected and appointed - spat in yours and my eye the way they did but it’s not surprising or even disappointing. These people have been doing much the same for 150 years.
