Why? All 3 will probably go down, so not really a problem. I reckon in a couple of games time, the budgies will be 7-8 points adrift of safety with just 10 to play, with their wonderful -36 gd, they will need 5 or 6 wins at least from those 10 to escape...not going to happen.

Because usually Watford and Burnley are pretty decent teams. Until recently Newcastle have also been dreadful. Norwich have been generally abysmal but still have a chance to stay up thanks to others being even worse.
Come on you Geordie boys. on 08:54 - Feb 14 with 1474 views | Hipsterectomy | I think Newcastle are going to pull away so not really their rival anymore. Everton will probably do much better with Lampard, at least for the rest of the season. Norwich are probably looking at Leeds and Brentford as the ones they need to beat to survive and I'd imagine a 7/8 point gap and much worse GD is asking too much

Come on you Geordie boys. on 09:59 - Feb 14 with 1357 views | Swansea_Blue | Ah, so they're back in the relegation zone. Newcastle must have picked up quite a bit lately, as I looked at the table a couple of weeks ago Norwich were clear of the bottom 3 by a few points.

That was due to games played, Newcastle have won 3 on the trot Much like us, Norwich's start will kill them, incredibly though, this season is probably an improvement on their last efforts, even though I would say their play has regressed?

Like the season all they needed was a win against Fulham on the last day to stay up and they lost 6-0. I think that's where the famous image of the ginger budgie crying came from

It's difficult isn't it? Newcastle have two of our on loan old boys in Ryan Fraser and Chris Wood (Jermaine Jenas was heaping praise on Fraser on MotD2 last night) so I don't want to see those two suffer relegation but the money being used to fund their revival is not clean. There again, the Houtis are not exactly angels either. And the United Kingdom and the United States are not averse to a few arms sales and other military support themselves, which means that the funds that are reviving Town are not always clean, or Norwich either for that matter even if they have laundered it through the sale of dodgy cookery books first.

This is all true, and the other poster above makes a good point about where the arms come from too. I too try to see all sides of a given argument. But I’ve found my line, and I support Norwich in staying up at their expense. In part because it would be very very very funny.

I want Burnley to survive and both Nodge and the barcodes to do down. Affordable homes, innit - although that argument falls away a bit when it comes to the Geordies. Still, give it a few years and rising sea levels will makes homes around the Broads and along the Yare and Wensum cheaper even than Burnley.
