I like Celina, I think getting him here is an investment fornthe future as he is betwgr suited to free flow (by comparison to L1) of the championship.
But the budget only goes so far, we are constrained by financial regulation and all this twitter nonsense just makes me think its not worth it if it's a reflection of what every negotiation will be like with them.
It may not be, may just be a laugh but there has to be an understanding of where we are as a club.

I'd say the gifs were suggesting that we were keen, Celina was keen, terms would be a formality with both sides knowing the score, but Dijon have moved the goalposts, potentially with the Downes news having broke and them seeing us as able to stretch to a little bit more.
Assume it's a permanent and not a loan? Can't see the club willing to loan Celina again when we've got the funds to find a similar player whose increased value we could benefit from if all went well. |  | | |

I'm speculating completely. I'm sure we have the money to do the deal if we wanted to, and they're certainly not like for like replacements Celina and Pigott, but it's a possible reason. We have a finite pot of cash to spend to ensure we remain within the rules, and from what I understand Pig and Celina are on big money, so it's possible we wanted to see how the Pig situation played out first, before tying up funds in Celina. | |

Not sure it's comparable tbh. Celina may have made it clear he won't be staying so they aren't including him. Whereas with piggott if a move didn't happen, both parties would have been OK for him to stay. | |
