I’ve been to all 3 games so far and have frustrations about them all.
I get it’s early etc but we should have beaten Bolton, made harder work of FGR than we should and the Col U was just same sh1t, different day. The lack of finishing apparent in all 3 games is the main reason I feel like this.
I’m going v MK but right now, no as positive as I usually am.
I may feel different closer to kick off but I can’t help feeling like we have been here before |  |

I think the sooner Ladapo scores the better, same with Chaplin. There had a fair few opportunies to play Burns through to potentially score one of his trademarks from last season, but they've kept hold of it and taken pot shots instead. |  |

Same problems, haven't brought in better players and think entertainment value has gone down rather than up. Think we will make play offs, but that's not even a certain

Hmmm interesting take, well I think several people round here are being completely hysterical. We look fine so far with some things to work on. Didn’t struggle against Bolton either as one reply suggests. They had one or zero shots on goal, so few I can’t even remember, and we had loads of reasonable chances any one of our front line would turn into a goal on another day. Humphrey's and TJJ's finishing at Colchester is unlikely to have a significant impact on the MK game. We scored two good goals against FGR, and we dominated Bolton and FGR. I'm confident and looking forward to it.
I don't think we have the same issues as last year. We have an attacking threat down both wings, meaning marking Burns out of the game doesn't eliminate our threat. What Frimley was saying in pre-season about Morsy getting more goals this season looks likely. Both he and Humphrey's have had the freedom to get on the end of good chances, due to the change in attacking options. |  |

I have been to both of the home games. Both were frustrating due to not taking the chances we had. The second one was not completely unexpected after completely changing the team.
We have played some lovely football and I have enjoyed watching. We have made a decent start to the league. I am looking forward to watching us play against a good footballing team and looking to improve on 2-2 from last season.

I’m certainly not feeling that confident, and yet I feel strongly that we should and need to get the 3 points, given MK are still ‘gelling’
But Manning is a very good manager and he’ll set them up well.
Where I am a bit more positive is that I think Bolton were defensively very good, and I think Harness and Ladapo add a whole new impetus and tomorrow might see the system really click.

For me I was not bothered that much about Celina. Great player but a luxury at times in league one.
We do need a 2nd striker and play with 2 in my opinion. | |

TBH it's to be expected
Everyone on a high pre season. Some solid if not amazing signings, riding on a wave of optimism from the earlier KM era. But that typical non trust of ipswich slowly sets in.
I'd say it's an expected feeling. Another league 1 campaign. Another early exit from a cup competition..
