Don't disagree we need our forwards to get scoring and take some of the load, but if we were to carry on at our current run rate we'll score 92 and concede 30, finishing on 107 points. |  |

Under KM - we have around a 50% win record I think. Since the start of this season he appears to have already started to address the goal scoring issue - there is a marked improvement already over the previous season.
The evidence so far, points to heading in the right direction - I'm certainly not against improving the squad if we can but the system we play creates scoring opportunities for multiple players - even playing in poorer weather and poorer pitches, there is nothing to suggest this would dramatically change.
It's evident during matches that we create through a number of ways - for example, we are more than happy to play longer direct balls to the wing backs high up the pitch - we are not solely reliant on playing through the middle. | |

MK Dons finished 3rd last season on 89 points. We best them 3-0, they're subsequently unbeaten including a 2-0 win at Watford and 4-0 at Morecambe. Barnsley just came down from the Championship, they're not a bad side at all. Away to FGR, Burton, Shrewsbury. OK probably 3 bottom 3rd sides but all away and a maximum 9 points, 1 goal conceded.
Our fixtures have been a relatively reasonable cross section of L1, against different styles too. Certainly will have been by game 10 when we add Accrington and Sheff Weds away into that. I would wager we'll be higher than 9th both at that point and in May.
As for winter, did you see our form under McKenna last January and February? We've got good depth and we're an incredibly fit and athletic looking side, largely at good ages. If anything it should benefit us. | |
