Lowkey continues to be a c***t and really shouldn’t be courted by crank politicians the way he is.

“Irredeemable filth”?

Well, that’s not over the top. Not to mention borderline racist if he’s referring to Lowkey himself rather than the words.

I don’t agree with Lowkey’s framing (too crude) but it wouldn’t be a stretch to call it a proxy war given the tensions leading up to it, and the military and weapons support before and now.

Absolutely none of that should deny that Putin and Russia is massively the aggressor and offender in this. and the Ukrainian people are the victims. Hence, even though he’s making a point about our willingness to get involved elsewhere, increase risks and have ordinary people bear the consequences, the framing is too narrow.

But of course this is really about Lowkey being a long pro-Palestinian supporter and anti-Zionist. And against another proxy war/occupation where we ourselves are on the “Putin” side. Not to mention to discredit the left and Corbyn for the same reason.

You lot really are as bad as the pro-Putin bots and apologists.

I’m sorry to be thick…but why in your opinion is it borderline racism?

Edit. Just googled low-key. Quite clearly that Solomon chap was referring to him alone.

He's a complete idiot. If Ukraine had been a member of NATO putin would never start that war, people like him are an apologists for putin.
All the deaths in Ukraine and outside are the result of putin irrelevant of what the pro putin lot like Lowkey say.

Sure. But it’s the context of who Lowkey is to Solomon and indeed GB.

He’s on their sh1tlist as a pro-Palestinian activist and his proximity to other pro-Palestinian politicians. And calling someone of Middle East heritage something as dehumanising as ”Irredeemable filth” when you’re already an apologist providing cover for apartheid seems to be getting into a pretty dodgy area.

It’s certainly OTT. Which is the main point.

I get his point but the framing is bad. If he referred to our interest in some injustices or wrongs whilst overlooking others he’d have a point.

The UK government is on the side of the Israeli government and its apartheid treatment of Palestinians and their land. Tacitly maybe but that’s the real world result.

Worryingly that’s also the accepted position right across our politics and media.

This again?

Go on then — who is calling out the illegal Israeli occupation and apartheid system in our politics and media? At best, it’s described as a conflict as if there’s some parity in the situation for ordinary Palestinians.

If someone reduced the Russian invasion of Ukraine to a conflict between Russia and Ukraine then quite rightly they’d be seen as a Putin apologist. So I’m really struggling to accept the double standards here.

No idea who this fella is, but to call it Nato's war is bizarre. Germany signed up to Nord Stream 2 after the invasion of Crimea and was desperately trying to open that pipeline right to the start of hostilities. And as far as I know, Nato only started to strengthen battle groups in Eastern Europe (and only in a symbolic way) when it became clear Russia was planning on attacking.

Maybe he thinks poor people in Ukraine should have been left to it and not just freeze, but be generality brutalised in the process?

Beyond a werid take from this fella - more a while hearted approval for the worst kind of genocidal fascist. I spose he call himself a lefty though?

Has anyone ever looked at their own postings for last day or so? Oh my... so sorry. Was Ullaa

Don't be so fecking disingenuous all the fecking time. It's effectively just lying.

The link to Corbyn was made in the OP not brought up by me, as you well know. Similarly Lowkey isn't a target for his narrow views on Ukraine but his association with the Left and views on Israeli apartheid.

And "political sewer"?!! Pfft. Says the rightwing Labour fanbot who always defends the establishment interests and will lie, cheat and steal to do it.

something has gone appallingly wrong in this case. the inquiry will find what and whether it's criminal. for some context, in 2020/21 (the last year with published data) there were 20 deaths either by police shooting (1) or in police custody (19). of those 18 were white. so relative to population, and particularly if adjusted by age group and locality where crime is most common, that doesn't support this being a race issue.

the first use of the word corbyn in this thread was by you in the 4th post? i'm not terribly interested in who or what lowkey is - the thread was about what he said about russia's invasion of ukraine. all the rest - israel and corbyn - has, as ever, been introduced entirely by you.

I actually paused before inserting the word "black" as it happens. The Met though....do you suspect they might be institutionally racist?
Oh and the enquiry...don't hold your breath.
