Anyone else got a bad feeling about tomorrow....? 15:23 - Sep 30 with 1769 views | ITFC_Forever | Exactly the sort of game we screw up. Or am I just so used to us being rubbish, that I can't get my head round the fact we're actually very decent on the whole now? [Post edited 30 Sep 2022 16:01]

We're a good side, a very good side. We're good to watch, well organised, demonstrate considered patterns and phases of play, well coached, and difficult to beat. Pompey won't be too keen to come to PR tomorrow that's for sure. Let's see what happens, and may the best team win.

Anyone else got a bad feeling about tomorrow....? on 15:32 - Sep 30 with 1700 views | LankHenners | Think Stuart Watson summed this up well in a pre-season preview podcast that it's a head and heart situation with Town. Using your head you asses our squad relative to everyone else, look at McKenna, look at the improvements we've made and see no reason why we shouldn't be right up there or indeed tipping us for 2nd minimum. However using your heart you can't help but have this nagging doubt that things won't go the way we want them as they never seem to and any big build up tends to lead to a flat performance which hinders our ability to progress. Understandable to think it'll all go wrong, and the last 2 results give a touch of nervousness but we have to back ourselves that we're better than most if not all and can get the job done at last. Great opportunity to make a positive stride tomorrow and we've got to be excited for it.

That 4-0 win last season tasted sweet, but was an anomaly. Cowley will be up to all his tricks, hopefully we have cooler heads than last week.

Certainly feels that way, in fact that 4-0 win was the only time we've beaten them in our last 8 attempts (2 draws, 5 defeats). More encouragingly though, the last 6 times we've played them in October we've remained unbeaten (won 4 and drawn 2). Utterly meaningless stats for you there, but stats nonetheless.

Thank you Mr Brightside, I will cherish and internalise that October stat, we're gonna bloody do it

Anyone else got a bad feeling about tomorrow....? on 10:37 - Oct 1 with 653 views | TheBoyBlue | Yes and no. It's a funny old game as someone once said and the last two capitulations haven't instilled great confidence in us getting a good result even if we take the lead. However, at least unlike the last two games we'll have the crowd behind us.
