Eiran Cashin. I thought he was very good. And the fact he was wearing a shirt with no sponsor, tucked in and with classic black boots made him look pretty old school.

Yeah, he stood out for them. Looks a real prospect as a 20-year old, all-action, all-round defender.
I suspect he’ll be in the Championship soon enough. And in all likelihood, not with Derby.
Of course, I’m getting waaaaay ahead of myself. But if and when we do get promoted, it’ll be very interesting to see how we recruit in the Championship and whether we see the need to have a slightly longer-term approach if we want to become challengers. Young, talented players like Cashin who can develop with the team could be more on our radar then. But if we’re going to push for an immediate impact then we might see Championship/ex-Prem players added to the existing potential in the current squad. We know how McKenna likes to play but we haven’t really seen his approach to squad building yet.
He wasn't bad, it did make me laugh however when the iFollow commentator raved about a block he made. It hit his standing leg, he had no idea about it and just happened to be in the way rather than doing anything particularly good.
I guess that's a "make your own luck" type of scenario.

He was very good. I don't want to say better than Fridge and Woolf, but Cashin was a level better than those around him, and seemed to carry them, whereas our three play as more of a collective unit.
