What's your favourite all-time piece of ITFC lead throwing away gold?
Going from being in complete control at Twerton Park on the first day of the 91-92 season and drawing 3-3 with Bristol Rovers has to be up there for me. Absolute text book lead squandering.
Kudos also to our 85-86 team for blowing 2/3 goal leads in successive weekends against Oxford and Everton to lose 3-4.
2002 - Charlton 3 Ipswich 2, in the season we were relegated from the Prem. 2 nil up inside 5 mins with 2 goals from Marcus Bent, and then lost. I still maintain that if we had won that game we would have stayed up that season.
Also Derby 4 Ipswich 4 in 2013 under Mick was another one, 4-1 up at Half-time and then pegged back and lucky to get a draw. Steve McClaren in the stands to inspire Derby in that game.
Weird cos we don't see many great Town comebacks like the ones we seem to be on the wrong end of.

Scott Parker or someone like that made a crunching challenge on Matt Holland (I think) at 2-0 down that could have been a red card. From there they stopped us playing and turned the game round.
The Oxford game mentioned above saw Dean Saunders (I think - or John Aldridge if it wasn't Saunders) score a hat trick in about 15 minutes or fewer.
The classic Town comeback I can think of was Sheffield United and Pablo was sent off and we went 2-0 down. Bowditch and Ambrose (I think) turned it around and we won 3-2. There was also when Coventry equalised at the death and Town went straight down the other end to win it through Counago (if that counts as a comeback).

It was Aldridge who scored the hat-trick.
That Sheff U game was a really emotional one, being the first game we played since the passing of Dale Roberts. Absolutely perfect ending to that.
I didn't go but recall being 3 down at Barnsley going into the final 5 and drawing. 95-96.
Leading 2-1 at home to Reading (Josh Carson had scored for us) in injury time. We lost 2-3. I believe Noel Hunt scored for them.
Also, we were leading 2-1 at Forest late on - I think Danny Collins got both our goals - and we managed to lose by the same scoreline as above. It may even have been the match immediately before that Reading game, or at least close to it.
I’m thinking those games were in the 2011/12 season.

Twerton Park for me too. Drove back to Warwickshire where i lived at the time completely numb, so know how our fans are feeling on the way home this evening. We went on to win Division 2.
We have no village green, or a shop.
It's very, very quiet.
I can walk to the pub.
