That article refers to the NCFC head of finance talking about a breakdown of trust. Does anyone know what that could refer to? The article doesn't seem to indicate what that might be. Does the football club just want to replace free press with their in-house propaganda team, Putin style, or was there actually an occurrence that caused this breakdown in trust?

This seems to be misguided, just like when ITFC lost its head and banned Saints Phil and Gav.

The media up there, particularly ITV, has been pretty much a cheerleader and mouthpiece for the club for decades. It was always going to end badly once they stopped being so compliant.

That article is a bit woolly, can anyone shed any light on what has caused this breakdown of trust?

I presume it's got nothing to do with a stolen can of silver polish, has it, 'cos I'm pretty sure that Archant would be of the plastic cutlery in the canteen class, and NCFC have certainly got no use for the stuff.

I've seen there's a suggestion that the club aren't all too happy since Archant starting putting a good amount of ex-Pink-Un content behind a paywall, seemingly on the basis that the club provide them the content for 'free' and are somewhat aggrieved at it now being monetised.

My understanding is that some media outlets broke the news about their new investor/shareholder, Mark Attansio, before everything was settled and that's why the media has found itself out in the cold.
