Click the star button in the top right of your feed, change it from ‘Home’ to ‘Latest’. Then you’ll see tweets from people you actually follow.

Even before Husk took over, there was a change in what you got in your feed eg "this tweeter is liked by many people you follow" etc. |  |

Best bet is to set Twitter to show latest tweets first. This way you'll see only see things tweeted or retweeted by those you follow. Downside is you can miss tweets because it's all chronological and some tweets you may have been interested in will be buried, especially if you follow a lot of accounts. |  | | |

I’m blocked by Kelvin Mackenzie despite having never interacted with him, so I don’t have that problem.

I've never been sure how Twitter works. Is there not information overload anyway?
As it is, for those people whose Tweets I am interested in, I can gain access to them in chronological order, when I want, without being signed up. Occasionally, a message crops up saying you need to log in, but I just click on that, and then dismiss the message, and can carry on viewing. [Post edited 10 Dec 2022 8:06]
