Depends a lot on who they replace with. My vote is for Bryan Gunn.

They need to give him time. He's doing a great job, been superb since his appointment. If they replace him think they'll go for russell martin

12 points off 2nd, possibly 15 points off top, 3 points above 16th. The Championship table is soo tight.

Hopefully Deano will survive for a few more games but not beating a team down to 10 will rankle.

Liam Manning would be a cheaper option. I hope they don't go for him as I like him and think he is a good manager.

Think it would be wrong for Manning to take it given his Town connections. The fans would be on his back from day 1 and if he took the same coaches as he had at MK the locals would give them no chance

In more good news, per the Athletic’s Norwich writer, the budgies have already spunked away the next two years of their parachute payments on the signings they made in the summer. You love to see it. *

* as rubbish as they look, given how bad the championship is, I still wouldn’t bet against them making the playoffs

The Championship table is so congested isn't it? Norwich in the play offs but 16th place Reading are 3 points behind with a game in hand.

They also don’t seem to have the saleable assets they’ve had in the past.
Pukki is getting on, Aarons - linked with a move to Barcelona not long ago, from the bits I saw last night is struggling in the Championship. I’m assuming the long haired flounce is injured as I didn’t see it on the pitch. Buendia was their best bit of business - I noticed last time they were in the championship and he was injured their form dropped off, he’s obviously long gone.
If they don’t go up, the wages will crucify them, so there will surely be a mass exodus. They really need Farke in this situation, shame he’s gone.

Could they afford the pay off needed to remove him? Their board is pretty lame at making any decisions. I heard they are a little short of money. Still, I’d love it if they fell on their sword.

They only have one parachute payment to come, so article must be wrong.

Are the Premier League not looking to reduce the first parachute payment, and fund prize money in Championship in a similar fashion to how it works in Premier League but presumably at a significantly lower level.

What state are their finances are in?

They didn't spend an awful lot in the Prem last season so must have hoovered up a fair portion of that extra income?
