Not well, unseemly, sweary, spotty, best placed back in their corner.

Not sure what Cobbold upper section costs compared to S6 SBRL though. Most are kids snd I doubt they’ll be paying inflated prices for Cobbold seats on a ST next season.

I stood in section 5 as usual, they seemed much louder from up there, and improved the atmosphere no end.

Was brilliant, felt like an away end up there. Everyone (young and old, male and female) all up for it, which was great to see.

The club were up to their usual tricks before the game stopping our display at the last minute, but we didn’t let it dampen the mood.

"the club were up to their usual tricks"

perhaps they had some last minute safety advice by the police and had no choice.

Thought the atmosphere yesterday was good in general. Pretty decent noise for a fair chunk of the match. There was even a bit of singing in SAR at times.

Thought on the tv footage, it was continuously quite loud, alot of games there's been spells of quietness, but seemed really good yesturday.

Really well. I'm a North stand lower section 5 season ticket and thought I'd join them. Was far enough away from the drum to not go deaf but close enough to join in. Pretty constant noise all game and you cluld see the North stand joining in.

Whole atmosphere seemed really good and the view from up there is far better than my normal back row of lower north position.

It seems quite ironic how they tend to make things a bit difficult for you yet they have little issue with often including footage of the group/section in club media content.

What was your display going to be?

The price difference for an adult renewal this season was £90 (or £7.50 a month on direct debit). There was no difference for U23 and U19 pricing. So no difference for the kids you mention and doubt it’s gonna be make or break for the rest.

Because I was there and know what happened, and have been dealing with them on a regular basis for over 4 years, so know exactly what they’re like.

Why do you persist on spouting rubbish in threads that you’re completely clueless about?

A banner, flags, confetti and streamers. All signed off a week ago, then stopped 2 hours before the game. I won’t go into detail about it as we want to talk to the club next week before speaking publicly about anything, but they’re doing their utmost to kill everything we’re trying to do.

I always thought that the club were encouraging your displays as they have no problem sharing them on their social media accounts.

Was quite surprised when I read your earlier posts stating that this was not the case - I know that you can’t really comment so not expecting a full answer. But is this attitude coming down from the very top or being implemented by someone in the middle?

That's really naughty from the club, and it's really disappointing to hear given the noise the club outwardly makes about atmosphere etc.,

I appreciate that it's clearly easier to do things with the club's backing/support but, if the club continues to be obstructive, what is there to actually stop a group of like-minded fans from coincidentally buying STs in the same block, or all deciding to throw confetti and streamers at the same time?

I think I recall you saying previously that the police had stuck their oar in as well regarding a move to the Cobbold. Can they actually do anything to stop passionate/noisy fans from taking seats there?

That's a shame. Hopefully it is a case of a lack of communication and a contractor going beyond their remit. However, it sounds a bit like it has happened too much for that explanation. I am quite sure the top level of the club want to encourage things that improve the atmosphere. I hope you get it resolved in a way that works from now on.

Pleased you guys thought it was a success. Largely encouraging posts from those elsewhere in the ground about the effect on the atmosphere too. Hope the club can accommodate but suspect ticket pricing could be a stumbling block?
A dedicated safe standing area would be the best solution imo. It would attract the singers too if located correctly. Best of luck!

Flags, confetti and steamers - unless the police have to do the tidying up I don’t see why they would object to that.

Well done to Blue Action for everything they are trying to do. It's very difficult to organise a 'singing section' without the club doing their bit, there is the same problem in ground after ground around the country. Just last week Pep was moaning about Man City fans sitting in silence. I hope the move to Cobbold A can work as there are surely more empty seats that can be taken but it doesn't sound great from comments about the club's attitude. I find it a bit strange as the atmosphere and passion of the fans is one of the things that makes English football an attractive view to overseas TV viewers, which is where the big bucks come from.

Without saying what was said and why they stopped it, all you're doing again is crying about not being able to do what you to do.

It's actually childish the constant flouncing about being told 'no' by the club, without any form of reasons being shared of 'WHY' they are saying no. IF you did this, then fairplay, and i'd be open to agreeing with you if i felt it wasn't right for the club to do so, but you don't, so whether its you or the other teens who pop on and cry about it, maybe share the full picture rather than acting all 'poor blue action' and the others taking to twitter to bemoan the club too.

Mate, just stop. It's embarrassing. I, and I'm sure most others, are going to take the word of the fella who was there and involved over someone who probably wasn't even in the ground. You are just throwing out wild speculation with your "maybe the police asked the club to act" or whatever. You're not in any position to demand info from anyone when you're just throwing paint at the wall.

I try my best to ignore your incredibly grating contrarian takes - but if you're going to start going in on people who make an active effort to improve the atmosphere in the ground I think it's time that you just read the room and bottle it pal.
