Not sure, but we played Rotherham in between Buxton and Burnley. Maybe we're pretending he's banned to give him a rest.

Plenty of players have missed FA Cup Finals because they had suspensions accrued from league games. Has that now changed to make it exclusive to league games?

Page 6 of the guidance for players here suggests that it's 2 yellows from the 3rd round which would make him eligible I think.

That's what confused me when Watson said it was for consecutive yellows as they're consecutive for him but not for the club. As per the link from SheffordBlue above just the 2 by themselves wouldn't ban him.

I'd not play him anyway, save him for the weekend and see what Luongo and Humphreys can offer.

I'd start that pair but with Luongo having so little match time this season he's likely to run out of steam. We may also need him on Saturday if Evans is out for that one.
