Proper BRITISH pollution for British people, too.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Unfortunately for Brexiters, the pollution won’t be red, white and blue but instead mostly brown.

Is that like, taking back control, you know….big business can do what they like, and the tax payers get to take back control by being allowed to pay for the cleanup.

Cutting the red tape or returning Britain to being the dirty man oi Europe was always a major aim of Brexit. That and removing worker rights to enable greater corporate profits.

Hush dear child

It was about sovrenty, contrullun our borders and cheapa feud an takin vat of hergee bills, innit

That checks of the imports of food have been pushed back another 3 months...... (stop larfin) ............ because they will further add to rising food prices, and it's not like our rivers and seas are being polluted by anfink else is it ?

And we needed to control our borders so those poles, Bulgariums and ovvers arn't cumin here and taken all our job in the nHs, as it is now almost all britishers, as those people with a different skin colour are from the commonwealth, not the common market.

And our fishermen can catch all the fish in the channel, though they don't have enough boats because they were swindled out of them by the EEUSSR.

No more strikes by French aire controle or there dockers. Any delays are our delays now.

And now all them there furriners have been sent home, there is plenty of houses for us brits. Propa houses, not mould ridden slums costin our govrnment billions every year.

So thre cheers for Boris ( he needs them to sit on)

I wonder if any Tories have links to developers…

Have to admit that that was amongst my initial thoughts - think I remember that a big building contractor donated to the Tory party - but can’t recall who.

Of course they do. Planning permission for 4000 new houses on the land BT owns near Martlesham was refused time after time. Cameron and his cronies were invited to dinner at the BT Japanese aircraft carrier and boom! A few weeks later, permission granted.

As we speak, the bulldozers are in and the cheap rubbish is being thrown up. No infrastructure to support it, just a mass of cheap houses making developers a lot of money. I’d be surprised if the politicians were not looked after.

I think it is a drop in donations to the Tory Party which has prompted this.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/tory-donor-house-building-b234805

According to the Times donations from housebuilders have averaged £6 million a year over the last 10 years or so. So the taxpayer would appear to be footing the £140 million bill the proposals give rise to to ensure £6 million in donations to the Tory Party.

"Jenrick granted planning permission for a £1bn property scheme two weeks before the developer donated £12,000 to the Conservative party.

"Jenrick (Tory MP) and his housing department initially backed a plan by the billionaire for media tycoon Richard Desmond to construct 1,524 apartments on a site in the Isle of the Dogs, east London.

As documents released on Wednesday confirm, Jenrick knew that Desmond had only 24 hours to have the development approved before new council community charges were imposed that would have cost him about £45m. "

While people condemn Tory sleaze (corruption) they over look that these monies do not end up in their back pocket before being moved into offshore accounts.

Oh no. They are carefully placed in brown envelopes and posted through the doors of 'red wallers'. Tom Daft of Dimwhitchurch on Tees said he 'were reet chuffed' when brown envelope dropped through his door. Though it was from the DWP to tell him his wife's mobility allowance had been stopped, Tom knew it would only be a matter of time before some cash came his way.

After all, had his 'betters' not stopped building the Northern part of HS2 as well as ending the levelling up plans.

So there must be money in there for those who supported these fine upstanding chaps. And if backhanders and corruption were good enough for some third world countries then why not us. After all, parts of the north now resemble the third world.

I saw the other day that Labour Partyr donations materially increased last year. Quelle surpris the Tory party ran at a loss (much like how they run the country), no doubt all p-ssed up the wall on expensive dinners, wallpaper, relentless leadership campaigns, and Rishi’s PR manager.

As regards Rishi's promotional photos, with his signature, when he was Chancellor, I always thought the Treasury picked up the tab.

Its not pollution rules stopping houses being built, its builders not getting the prices they want to sell them for.

They've stopped building at Henley Gate because no-one is buying and no-one is buying because at current interest rates people can't afford the prices the builders are asking. Same at Bramford.

Simple solution would be for builders to carry on building but accept lower prices.

And especially for so-called affordable homes to be available at affordable prices or rents.

Far better would be for the government to build houses. As was started after WW2 and carried on by the Tories through 1950's. Right across the political board it was seen as not only socially necessary, but important to industry to have people properly housed

The birth rate is at its lowest. In part to youngsters not having anywhere suitable to raise a family.

The money is already there. The billions wasted on paying for substandard, mould ridden slums. Look up how many councils houses were flogged off, only to now be owned by foreign investors who are charging councils extortionate sums to rent them back.

Check the rents squeezed out of the local council for a dilapidated Edwardian house, now divide into 9 separate bedsits. . That's over £60,000 a year. Divert that money into repaying loans the council has taken out to build decent housing, which would eventually be owned by the council, not some modern day Rachman.

A huge number of under 30s are struggling to even find somewhere to live with others lucky enough to have parents to lend them money. Then only to buy them a ladder, I read. The utter lunacy of this, is often because their parent's house has risen way above inflation that they are able to lend money, to buy a property.................. that has risen way above inflation.

This madness is now spreading to student accommodation, whereby the parasitic class has descended upon their housing. Read it when you can.

From cradle to grave. It's not that you will be looked after now, but you will be exploited
