Got to protect him. Saturday is a big chance to keep this momentum and get a win against an unsettled Brum. I'm sure as a Wolverhampton lad he'll be looking forward to it too, almost guaranteed to find his way into the refs book. Plus it gives Ball a chance on Wednesday, alongside Taylor should still give that protection to a much changed back 4.
I think we'll have a number of those lads on the bench to bring on that additional quality if we need to as the games go on. That's tended to be McKenna's MO in the cup.
Fulham will be strong no doubt, I would be foomin as a Fulham fan if they're not. From their perspective its a draw against a lower league side and a good chance to progress into the last 8 of a cup they could win. It's probably their best chance of any silverware or at least a Wembley visit innit. | | | |
