If you could choose just one historical goal that you could retrospectively either rule out or be given after a VAR review, which would it be, and what outcome would it affect?
Nathan Ellington goal for Wigan March 2005, they won 1-0. If that had been disallowed we’d have drawn, and gone up automatically, instead of suffering the Zamora show at PR in the play offs

Mariner at Barcelona. Fouled by the keeper near the end whilst it was 2-0 but got up and tapped it in. Ref decided on a free kick. They scored again before the end to level the tie up.

Ruud van Nistelrooy, diving ****, against Man Utd, last home game of 2001/02. Overturn penalty and yellow card for diving. Maybe we could have gone on to win the match.... maybe......

Oooh, Gary McAllister's free-kick that Liverpool scored from and helped cost us Champions League in 2001. Not sure who it was against, but remember fuming at the time. Definite dive for a foul. Maybe Bradford vs Liverpool? Everton vs Liverpool? Any helpers?
"......Paul Mariner......John Wark...... Brian Tablet...errrrrrr Talbot"
Went to the 2016 Euros semi final in Marseilles when the French finally got revenge for that result.
Have never known an atmosphere like it - fair to say the French were quite keen on making amends. The site of the "Free French" flag in the stands was something else. Know things have come a long way (thankfully) since 1945 but that night was a proper sight to see/experience.

I have a welsh friend who was at Croake Park when England played Ireland in the 6 nations.
He said the atmosphere was such that Ireland won that with the national anthem
Jan Molby’s free kick in 92 which was about six yards in front of where the foul was. That’s probably not something VAR would even correct but I want that fat Danish cheat punished.
