I disagree with much of what is posted in this thread. Yes the two sides cancelled each other out so if you need lots of chances and goals to call it good football you would be disappointed. On the other hand the skill levels and sheer pace on display would leave most Championship clubs, ourselves included, chasing shadows. That’s not meant as a criticism of our current squad - they are doing us proud, but the reality is that McK has maximised performance from good solid Championship and Div 1 players, not many of whom would get a game with either side last night.
I love how we play under McK and I would love to get promoted to the Prem but if we get there we will need a raft of new players to have a chance of survival. |  | | |
