Having watched the game, Elland Rd was a morgue until the 86 mins, being played off the park by Leicester, who couldn’t finish them off. That result, whilst not guaranteeing the final automatic two, will make it close to all but done n dusted as I can’t see either of them dropping 3 games and us not dropping any more points for the rest of the season. We had our gap over Leeds, and blew it with the ridiculous amount of gifted soft goals by our defence ,leaving us to fight for a draw in so many games that we should have won easily, but for crap defending. But having said that we’ve had an absolutely fantastic season to date. Here’s hoping ( praying), an unbelievable ending happens for us still! |  |

To be fair to Leeds they’re a very good team at this level, we’ve seen it in the 2 games against them. So they should be frankly with the depth of their pockets and 30m+ Euro strikers and Italy internationals. They’re firmly in their stride now and the fact we’ve kept pace with them over 33/34 games is testament to how ridiculously well we’ve done.
Doesn’t change the fact their fans are bell ends but have to be honest about the fact they’re particularly strong. I just hope they slip up 1 more time than we do between now and the end of the season, I make it unlikely but not impossible. Just got to do our but now, beat Brum and keep Leeds honest. If they drop a ball or 2 we need to be doing enough to capitalise on it. |  | | |
