This is why we don't get nice things, like a day of for St George's Day, because these sort of knobbers have to spoil it.

One person posted online: "You lot have lost the plot. Jewish people not aloud (sic) to walk around London and now anyone who celebrates St. George's day is Far Right. Get a grip.....jeeeeez"

It used to great on here when people let me say whatever I wanted and giggled along - (Rough translation of post from un-named TWTD contributor, 2026)

Imagine spending your Tuesday draped in a St George's cross and aimlessly shouting things in London for the day with a bunch of bigots. I can generally understand why there's a big turnout for big England games etc, and people might get caught up by association with such flag sh@ggers, but to actually go out of your way to make a day out for this is absolutely bonkers.

….in between spring showers.

I had scones (scones) with cream and jam for a lunchtime treat.

Then I took the dog for a walk in the local bluebell wood.

Fish and chips, from the chippy, for dinner and footy on the telly tonight.

A perfect St George’s Day

That's a bit of me Bloots. Life is beautiful. There's a lot about this country that's worth celebrating and a lot about it I love (fair amount I don't too). Bl00dy brilliant place to live on balance IMO, and I've tried a few countries. Relatively speaking we're lucky, by and large the people are decent too. Its just a shame about the numpties on the extremes.

Filling yourself with hatred and dressing in chain mail isn't my idea of a good day out.

Might do fish & chips myself tonight if the other half is up for it.
