They loaned out 11+ players all of whom are presumably now back on the wage bill. They also brought players in on loan and hope to sign them permanently.
For season 22/23 they had a trading loss of over £100m but raised £70+m from player sales.
The 3 year rolling loss permitted for this season would be £22m less than last season and next season it will drop another £22m.
They really are in the poo.

As an aside, Gnonto every time I see him is one of the most wasteful players. Clearly had talent, but his end product is poor. 9 goals and only 3 assists this season is pretty underwhelming given his value. | | | |

Gnoto comes across as a player who plays much more for himself than the team, I think that's why his assists has been so low. He does get fouled a lot due to his style but loves falling over too. Back to Italy in the Summer you'd imagine. |  | | |
