I genuinely think we've done ok. Good point to take stock of what's happened around us. Looking at other results seeing Liverpool and man city dispatch teams at will, haaland and salad shining against others and our overall displays give me more than enough confidence were not just here to make up numbers.
In fact there's lots going on around us and lots on show against Fulham to prove that we really have an opportunity to begin to establish ourselves. Mckenna will do wonders with some of these players but I think we have 50 per cent if not more of a squad that now needs nurturing.
As before a bit of hunger and desire will go a long way. Cup comp is knocked on the head and we can focus in on getting a reasonably consistent source of points in the run to Christmas hopefully. Exciting times not seen for so many years. |  | | |  |

We have replaced the spine of the side as well as the attack and two subs were also new players, it will take time for them to get accustomed to KMC's system(s). Great to see Morsy, Wolfy and Leif play so well considering the had a combined 130 ish appearances in our L1 promotion season. Chaplin and Ali came on and did not look out of place either. |  | | |

I’m definitely more optimistic that we can compete in this league now than I was before the season started.
Think we have to win our home games against the bottom half teams like Fulham though to take advantage of fortress PR but I can see us picking up some points away as well. Watching Man Utd yesterday, I think we could beat them if we are at our best. |  |
