No

This division is so poor that the franchise will still be ‘in touch with safety’ if they dont win a game until the new year - and as things a standing now - at Easter.

Whilst there are four extremely poor teams in this division with managers incapable of setting their teams up to win games a few draws every now and again will do nicely for one of those rubbish teams

However when the 3 team was below Town (and Leicester) sack their managers, one or two might just get the near insignificant dead cat bounce to rise above the dross.

Possibly as much as we've had this season, yes. I fear heads may drop if we don't get something very soon, preferably next Sat. In terms of points, a gap has definately developed between the bottom 4 or 5 which heaps more and more pressure on for the rest of the season. Each fame we get nothing from means it becomes more important (and more pressure) to get points from the next one.

I can only assume your life must be really empty and sad, if your only joy is posting negative crap on an Ipswich forum.

Spurs and United will be difficult to get anything from so I feel we, at least, need to avoid defeat on Saturday.

Yes, simply to boost morale, confidence and belief in the camp. If we lose next week against Leicester City, I think the players and possibly the management, will start to question where this first win is coming from?

Your game today is a must win, if you want to keep in touch with the dross above you.

Nah, just enjoying the fixtures as they come along. Yesterday was a very exciting game of football. The manager and players are trying their best. What will be will be.

From a league perspective no, although it will help the players confidence.

However..

From a fans perspective I think it's a yes. If the worst happens and we lose I think a lot of fans will really turn on the team/mgmt. Now I'm not saying all fans, but a significant amount.
Too many had unrealistic expectations and after chatting to fans at the game yesterday I felt a few (too many for my liking) had expected us to be going into game 10 with at least 2 wins under our belt.

Nothing is must win this early on.

Regardless, I think we will win. We are a lot stronger side then last year and they couldn't beat us then. Real acid test, if we lose, confidence will just die.

There are no must win games in November. There's still so many points on offer still.

However, I feel that not winning could have a really big impact on morale. It would put Leicester, a team we need to compete with, a lot of points away. It would also see us leaving our first "winnable" batch of games with just a couple of draws, with 2 tough games coming up that would likely see us drop into the bottom 3.

Its not a 'must win' from that perspective, but it certainly is for keeping the crowd onside at Portman Road.

Judging from last night and this mornings posts, lose this one and I suspect getting a ticket for home games might starting to get easier.
