Indeed. Heavy snow that lay for a while in St Albans. When it stopped it melted remarkably quickly.

speaking of Kent, i went to Leeds Castle last year during half term and we stayed in one of the houses onsite which was a 10 minute walk to the castle, well worth a visit. i bet it's great there in the snow if you had any.

I like Leeds Castle. It’s interesting and very picturesque. It’s actually got a little nine hole golf course next to it which is fun with an adjacent pub serving a decent lunch. All good.

Thee are a lot of pretty places in Kent when you get out from the M25 and away from the motorways.
