When I was 'picking my 5' I had Townsend down to take one. Never seen him take one but I know he can hit a good ball.

Were they though? Certainly no more so than you might expect a home team. Thought it was competitive.

Not sure they were better than us. The stats show both teams had 4 shots on target and 1 goal

If we had been more clinical it would have got to pens, delap going over for the pen when he had actually taken on the last defender could have had a clear shot at goal, Clarke should have done better with his toe poke and needed to channel his inner Sarmiento, the same for Morsey, he tried a Wes burns rather than using his other foot. They all done well to create the shooting opportunities but that has been the story of our season, not been clinical enough. No shame in the game though and was far more entertaining than the manu dross

Me too. Johnson’s wasn’t well placed had the keeper guessed the right side. But he obviously didn’t.

I assumed we’d have a bit of an issue with them, but was pleasantly surprised.

I'm sure our keeper went the right way at least, for all but one, & theirs, the only one he went the right way for, he saved

That's because players don't really care about the FA Cup so there's less pressure. See also not much pretending to be hurt / time wasting / gamesmanship during the game - the stakes are not high.

I think you mean Cajuste's. Johnson's was in the corner and the keeper went the right way. Cajuste's was down the middle, more or less.
