Hursty is great, different to Delap and does not have the monetary value or potential but can do things that Delap can't; I thought he looked an even better player last season then the one we signed, I think the exposure to the prem and training with better players and his international call up, coupled with the fact KM is a fantastic coach who makes everybody better ( even 30 years old plus players )has improved his confidence. KM has also said that he is a late developer as some players are and he is on a steep trajectory of improvement. Not to mention his lineage ( his Dad was an incredible striker for those who remember although different to George ) His work rate has never been in question and to be honest I haven't heard one Town fan say a bad word about him.
What i will say I have heard them say, and i agree with them, is that SO FAR ( I hope it changes ) is that he can be a bit injury prone and miss large chunks of the season and THAT is why ' plenty of posters are very stressy 'without another striker, not because he is not good enough. | |
