Now that is cinema! The bloke asking (in that ghastly accent) “what’s the pen for? What’s it for?” Does he think the ref’s gonna come over and explain to him personally?
The only thin that could make that better is if when Chaplin booted the ball into the crowd, he’d have hit the bloke square in the face and sent his phone flying.
I’d wondered what had gone on with Chaplin. Wasn’t obvious from TV. He shouldn’t really have kicked the ball into the crown like that after the goal. I’d have gone for him if I was the opposition.

I thought at the time he was just trying to smash it back in the goal as a celebration and missed, but yeah maybe not... Bit of a dïck move, but you love to see it! 😂

He knew what he was doing and knew it would provoke a reaction and eat up more time.

Lovely video 😄
The ref raises his arm and touches his hand, that's good communication.
It was a harsh pen, but of course you see them given.
Any of our fans grumbling about the ref would do well to realise that he got us out of jail. If we were Brum fans we would feel well and truly robbed.

He got one of the three big calls correct. One, debatable. One completely wrong.
The disallowed goal was correct. Greaves was pushed, from behind, just as he was setting to head the ball.
The penalty shout for us that was not given (O'Shea assaulted to the ground) would have been given by VAR.
The handball penalty was debatable, as the distance of travel before striking the hand is so short.
It doesn't matter if the handball was at close distance. The defending players arms were up above his head, in an unatural position. Yes, in truth, it's harsh, a crap rule, and we'd feel aggrieved if it was against us, but it's a rule so not debatable at all.

We were playing against a team that was pumped up and full of adrenaline. That is why the early parts of the match were played at 100mph. By the time they had scored it had warn off and the Blue Noses were all kn@ckered. After that they seemed to spend most of the game sat down with cramp. The game opened up and our class shone through.

Not so sure it would have. Remember Chappers being assaulted last season against Leicester in the penalty area and VAR didn’t even look at it. Apparantly…
