He plays very deep from what I remember / have seen. Could be the return of the Massimo role which allowed Davis to bomb on so successfully in league 1, where he’d drop in at left back while Davis went marauding.

Yeh, very much a deep lying holding midfielder but pretty athletic and calm on the ball
Would be a good option to backup Matasiwa and as an alternative partner to Cajuste or Taylor I guess

They got relegated last season so presume it's something to do with not expecting a deal to go through if that happened - and a lot of money for a second tier French club to spend so maybe they only want to flip him and he's not happy? Just speculating there |  |

Im trying to get my head around the article and understand what he’s upset about. He presumably knew about the option when he went there last season. So what’s he upset about? Is it that he doesn’t want to stay in France?
