Putting aside the last couple of weeks, seeing him develop under KM has been one of the highlights of the past 2 years. Cracking little footballer. Best of luck Omari 🙌🏻

He’s moved to pastures new and will soon forget about little old Ipswich Town. It was a shame it ended how it did, I am prepared to think/hope it was poor advice from others.
But what a privilege to have seen him turn up 2 years ago and develop into a superb player that he will be. I hope he remembers that ITFC have been a huge part of his development and I for one wish him all the best in his future career, unless he over celebrates if he scores against us and starts kissing the badge!

I preferred Broadys, it was more sincere.

Omaris (with his new sign off) seemed more liked a brand update from the marketing team at his agents company.

Omari had nothing to do with that video.

He's a young lad with huge ambition and talent, for a while his ambition and ours aligned. It may be that he goes on to things beyond us, it may be that we eclipse him, but both parties had two years of pleasure and I'm sure both will, eventually, remember it fondly.

It's where we are, it's the model, we have to appreciate these talents while we can while always striving to move up the pecking order.

Lots of these young guys now are going to see us as a stepping stone and use us while they can, likewise we use them, it's modern football. It's also no bad thing.

Those getting upset over the nature of his departure might as well save their ire for something else, it's the modern game. No I don't like it either, but I can't change it so may as well just appreciate the quality while I can.

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

He's done so much for us and I'll remember him fondly for that. And happy enough for him to go back up to the Premier League to push for an England place, earn more money and all that.

However, we've also done a lot for him and frankly I've found his antics recently deeply ungrateful.

Good luck to him, I’m glad we can finally draw a line under it. I wish him well, I’ve enjoyed watching him and has contributed to some huge highs here. Shame how it ended, really don’t think he needed it to go as it did as the club seems to act with integrity and would’ve sold him, but won’t lose sleep over it.

He moves on, so do we.

The state of the replies under that story. Is that what it’s like on Twitter too?

I nearly got embroiled there but wondered what the point was.

Sometimes you feel we don't deserve talent like that with those sorts of imbeciles.

Short and sweet, but always seemed a shy lad and not one for a lot of words.

Indeed, it was far from an ideal situation but it's hardly like the club wasn't keen on cashing in either. If we'd dug our heels in, and he'd done an "Isak, claiming he's never going to play for us again, then I could understand the resentment towards him.

Both the club, and Omari, have done well out of our time together, and personally, I'm happy to leave it there. No gushing outpouring of love, but also, no vitrol from me. I hope he goes on to do well, as it means we're likely to gain financially for it.

Quite.

Grown men and women publicly sh1tting the bed over a young man taking his next career step has been something to behold.

Good luck Omari.

I can't see anything wrong with what he's posted there. It doesn't cast aspersions on ITFC in any way.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

The irony that you've called him a little boy is quite strong here.
