I think in today's game its a red.
It was late and could've caused Van Dijk serious injury as he didn't see it and was in mid clearance.

I'm not a huge fan but at least it conveys some information to the fans actually in the ground.

The game has gone by providing the crowd with more info on a decision made? I didn't see it or hear it, but so long as it wasn't done so the ref stopped the game to give the update (which according to your post they didn't) I don't see the issue with it
Maybe it'll help people connect more with the decisions made on th pitch?
