That's probably a reflection of the keepers we currently have in the squad.
Muric is decent with his feet and far better in the air than either Palmer and Walton. And I'm not saying they're not accident prone. But at least, to date and I hope I'm not tempting fate, their errors seem to have some logic to them. Muric's tend to be bizarre and/or a complete rush to the head.
He was not worth £8m. We would have been better off paying Hladky what he wanted.

I think Vas' lack of height would have counted against him in the Premier League.
I think it's worth remembering that Palmer has had a few brain farts himself since joining. He could have been sent of within seconds of his debut against Villa, the slip of against Wolves etc. He's been very luck they weren't punished the way Muric's were.
And he's awful with his feet, which is a key component in the way we like to play.

Really ? Championship keeper of the year wasn’t he came through Man City academy
When he played well eg Brighton away looked like a top six prem keeper, unfortunately prone to regular gaffs, as have been many keepers who have ironed them out and become really good.
Pretty obviously has the potential to be one of the best

I agree to an extent. Why I'd like to see someone else brought in, with maybe Walton moving on, but no idea who would suit the role.

If we’re serious about top 2, we need a new keeper between now and 7pm Monday.
I don't think a keeper will make or break our season. Let's not forget Burnley went up with Muric as their #1 after all
We could definitely do with an upgrade on Palmer who is more comfortable with their feet though. The trouble is those keepers are in high demand and few and far between

I'm just sincerely trying to understand what he was trying to do there. Here's a better angle
Muric is a goalkeeper who can command his area brilliantly, can pull off blinding saves and then can, at times, do things which you have never seen any other goalkeeper do, and which seem utterly contrary to all logic that a goalkeeper would utilise if they wanted to stop a goal being scored.

The thing is we went up with a keeper who was comfortable with the ball at his feet. That is not the case now.
We also don't have the midfielder who can take the ball under pressure from the goalkeper passing short into him and roll an opposition player.
Was kind of unique for lower division football for us to have 2 players with those attributes. We no longer have them so you would hope we adapt our style slightly if it doesn't work with what we have.

he got there by being the best keeper in the championship, letting in the least number of goals.
