Yes, broken legs can come back stronger knee and ankle ligaments just get worse unfortunately. Can still have a career but needs 6 months of luck on that ankle as so so easy to roll it when coming back. Sammie has to a lesser extent the same issue. Much lesser. Broja is always going to have this issue I fear but not impossible to get a run of fortune. [Post edited 16 Nov 2025 19:32]

I wasn't replying to an opinion was I. It was how he 'reported' on a dude getting a really nasty injury who has had his career more or less ruined. Tabloid style "Crocked" and "shocker" language. Just asked the question why be a d* k about it rather than directly calling him one. Think it was a fair question. Anyway the OP himself followed up streaming he felt bad for him which I liked and thought that was fair enough.

The bit where the leg was broken might be stronger but the surrounding areas won’t be.
Either way, it seems (needs a medical bod here) that some people are just not physically able to stand the rigours of professional sport. Or they don’t get over a catastrophic injury. Wilshere was another one who seemed fragile. It’s just how it is and not just in football.
Yes, with anyone including Broja, nobody wants to see a player injured. Yes, not pursuing Broja was a bullet dodged but it was a very slow, obvious bullet. Chelsea’s part in the saga was a disgrace, but no surprise. That’s in the past.
