Yeah, look as if they could cause us problems. Another goal or two would be very welcome to settle the nerves, not that there’s much sign of one after Azon’s poor miss.

Feck, we should have done better there as well.

Complete opposite to what I think I've watched - I haven't been worried since their early chance Walton saved. We look comfortable dealing with them.
I can't remember them challenging our goal since.

I was thinking the same. A lot of possession, but very little to show for it.

Yep. As usual I am most nervous when the team with possession near our box is us! (Before anyone jumps in and says, we'll that's how we open teams up, yes I know, doesn't stop it looking awkward though).

Agree with this. Look like they could play all day and not score

We gradually adapted but they could have equalised

They played through the press for about 10 minutes and we looked too open but have gradually started to adapt to it

They do look quite vulnerable when you get at them

That Azon miss could be costly, he had so much time to compose himself and drive it into the middle of the goal

Not sure I.agree. Lot's of possession for the sake of possession. Think if we can hold one to a lead until the hour mark, we'll start tearing them apart because they'll start pushing harder for n the equaliser. They leave themselves so open. If Hirst had been available feel we'd be at least 3-0 up already.

Hard to argue with that, definitely more dangerous down the wings than anyone else we have seen at Portman Road

I can't believe Manhoef is on the bench

They carry a threat occasionally, but we’ve contained them well. We’re pressing strongly out of possession, and forcing them back

We can’t be complacent though - they have a bit of pace, and play some very intelligent passes.

They have setup to counter our system and were quite effectively breaking the press and getting into dangerous areas

I'd agree they have been wasteful but do look potentially dangerous

We are pretty defensively resilient and deal with teams like this better than used to. We don't need to score 3 or 4 to beat sides now.

Agreed, you can't get complacent and give them a chance

Manhoef off the bench will be dangerous, if they get Gallagher on, he will offer that ohysical threat which Thomas and he can feed off

They've barely had a kick 2nd half. We've been totally lacking any cutting edge.

It's like a training game.

I strongly disagree with this.

On Saturday Walton made 4 top class saves and Coventry missed a couple of good chances too.

I can't recall Walton having a proper save to make and Stoke have only missed one good chance that I can recall.

They look a decent side but they have had one shot on target and up until now our defence has looked pretty comfortable.

Think you're being generous.

Yep. They were looking dangerous, but couldn’t build on it as we grew into the game a bit more even though they had more possession.
