| Chaplin 13:32 - Apr 9 with 4347 views | MillsTash | Looks certain to be off in the summer. His house is up for sale with no onward chain. Anyone with a spare £845,000 want to live in Westerfield? | | | | |

I remember seeing footage of the players and manager walking out to (possibly?) the first training session under McKenna, and Chappers was right there with Kieran, deep in conversation. Who knows what they were talking about, but I'd bet huge money that Chappers was one of the prime movers in generating and enabling that phenomenal team/squad/club spirit that took us from midtable League One to the Premier League. He's been a superb force here, both on and off the pitch, a proper all-round pocket dynamo of a player and a man.

Thanks and best wishes is outrageously low key for Chaplin's departure.

Those two always seemed to have a special connection,, maybe 9helped by KM being relatively young. No better way to celebrate a promotion that putting a rubbish bin over your leading scorers head.
