He's very well thought of at Spurs, isn't he. Doubt we'd be able to afford him either way. And didn't Pennington do OK at RB? Didn't see the game but seemed to have less criticism than Spence usually does! |  |

I think so, and yes you're probably right about us not affording him! I thought Pennington played well, but is the long term solution there (until the end of the season)? PL seemed to confirm last week that he was after another RB as is, so who knows really! | |

Not to sound like a boo boy, but with our midfield starting to come back, I think Chalobah could easily be part of a rotation- not sure if i would drop him outright though. | |

CCV wouldn't be covering anyone. The whole reason he may be being recalled by Spurs is lack of game time, so the new loan club would have to offer game time. | | | |

I think thats a sensible idea not boohoo. I honestly don't see too much difference in Downes and Chalobah, and if we can get Bishop and Huws fully fit, I would part Chalobah for CCV. | |

Are people getting carried away by the performance of the back four last Saturday? For all their pressure didn’t Rotherham basically hoist high balls into our box? That played into the strengths of that back four. Teams that move the ball quikly a don the ground would expose their collective lack of pace. | | | |

Moving Chambers to right back is a bad idea, no?
I'm not at all convinced by signing CCV. He's only ever played in a back 3 and we lack the personnel for such a system. Collins and Chambers with back up from Pennington and Nsiala will do fine. Another CB isn't a priority. |  |
